The Magna-Power Electronics MT series combines state-of-the-art microprocessor technology with a combination of high and medium frequency power amplifiers. This enables the controller to respond quickly and to build in smaller modules. Thanks to the current control of the output stages, the power supplies are less susceptible to overloads and faults. The power supplies are made up of power modules. The power modules are available in the sizes of 100 kW, 150 kW and 250 kW. This makes the MT power supplies one of the most powerful switching power supplies available on the market. For the operation of more than 250 kW, several modules are interconnected via the master slave function.

All communication interfaces are optically isolated from the output voltages. The reference potential of the control contacts is earth. The output voltage is set via a current-controlled H bridge. This has the advantage that self-protection of the output stages is given in the event of a rapidly occurring overload. In addition, from 250 KW circuits are installed to avoid harmonics. The master slave function ensures problem-free parallel operation of the modules / power supplies. Optionally, the MT series can be ordered with water cooling for better heat dissipation.
